I agree with adding stopwatch and sudden death is stupid, but overtime isn't really that shitty of a mechanic, and if they can cap the point back and keep you from taking it back in overtime, they should win. It isn't that hard to stop an enemy team from winning in OT, and if your entire team manages to crumble and let another team win in OT you're just shit.

Outside of my placement matches, I've gone 12-3 (went 5-5 in placement matches, lost 3 due to trolls and the other 2 due to shitter teammates who I was not good enough to carry unfortunately), and now I'm rank 53, and rising because for some reason I'm good enough to carry shitters against shitters

What is the best way to organise comms when playing ranked with a stack? I'm not talking about whether to use discord or teamspeak, but rather how to organise callouts and prevent it being a general clusterfuck of information that confuses people most of the time

Speed is best when used to help your team chase enemies or to retreat from enemy pushes. Keep in mind that sometimes it's better to give your team a amp'd speed boost to survive a enemy ult instead of trying to heal tank it.
Always try to be swapping tracks and don't stay stagnate on just heal or speed. If nobody is taking damage then give them speed to get into position, once your pharah gets in and starts ulting give her the amp'd heal to help her survive.
So what do you guys think?
Will the Overwatch team go full Brode and say some characters have to be bad to make other characters feel better or will they got HotS team on us and constantly buff and nerf heroes to hopefully find some sort of balance?Just kidding, console patching costs too much for them to do regular balance patches.
If i'm holding my ultra for stupid periods of time and my team never dies in numbers, is it worth just using my ultra to revive one player that has been competent so they can get back in faster or should I keep the ult on standby incase my team suddenly gets a wipe?

Don't hold the button down. Most of those missed shots weren't even your fault, just the splash burst from the gun. Its okay to do that if the target fits inside the box, but D.va's so small you need that pinpoint accuracy.

In competitive it safe to leave a match without penalty when I first see that some low level scrub on our team has picked Genji.
Low level scrubs picking Genji are fucking PUB cancer.
So I'm still fairly new and hit level 30 today. All of a sudden I started getting matched with only level 40 and above players. Is this normal? I'm not complaining or anything, it's just weird.

The big issue with McCree (and Mei) is they take away power from the opponent. McCree's stun (Mei's freeze) gives you that "I could've won if it weren't for this" feeling. Didn't help that the guy who left was the only one in my group, who plays with me and others frequently and just silently raged out of nowhere. Cost the whole match.I was also really salty against the last match for losing 3 times in a row on Lijang Tower, barely ever touched the point as a team. You just have to be really close. In shit-comps and quick plays D. Va makes an excellent ambush player.
Defense Matrix + Boost will take out Bastions, Widowmakers, Pharahs, Turrets, Reindharts and S76s.
However in decent comps, you rarely every get 1v1s, and you're armor gets chewed through because you move so slow, and you don't get anything done because of the relatively high TTK everyone else has

If I were me, I would completely negate the damage dropoff of her shotguns (read: inaccuracy is enough damage falloff) and have her take 25% less damage to her head (IE, headshot mult, typically 2.0, is now 1.5)
Maybe, like, bind each gun to each mousebutton. Hold M1 and M2 for what it is right now, or hold down either M1 or M2 to fire only 1 cannon. Comparatively, half rate of fire for half movement penalty.

Double support is pretty decent on KotH (since Lucio is at a massive advantage on the majority of those maps he practically functions as a DPS hero) and it's not awful on certain other maps on attack. Obviously healer/Sym is decent on defense on some points but she's not really a support hero.
I agree with you though. Too many poor players think they can passively play a support hero and be 'contributing' by doing so. The skillcap on Lucio and Mercy isn't hugely high but there's still a world of difference between a player with good awareness and positioning and the cock-loving faggots who'll literally only pick these heroes.

I want to try other characters, but if I force someone else in my group to play primary/auxiliary healer, I've just put the team at a disadvantage. I went 5/5, got ranked 48. Hit 50 now, I was 51 but I lost a Route 66 and de-ranked. Gonna relax and play weekly brawl tonight for fun and to practice my Pharah anti-Pharah air game. Hopefully I can push for 55 this week, I'd very much like to reach 60 so I can say that I'm not absolutely fucking terrible at the game.
Overall ranked is a lot of fun though. People actually talk on mic and if I make calls for plays or swaps they'll often do so.

D.va is a harasser, use her as a red cloth to get the enemy teams attention away from your team. You have unparalleled mobility, use it to pop up behind the enemy team, get some damage in and when they start shooting at you get away and come in from a different angle. Also don't forget to visit the enemy backline widows and hanzos to give them a shotgun enema. Also if you see the opportunity kill their support.
