Just a quick Zarya tip, if you have a Reinhardt you can barrier him while he's shielding, the shots fired at the shield will transform into energy for you as long as they shoot in the middle of the shieldwhich is where most people shoot, especially in chokepoints

Stop disrespecting Genji players. He's a good character.
He's very good at disturbing the enemy's backline, putting pressure on their snipers/mid-range damage characters, assassinating their healers, slipping through chokepoints and contesting points forcing the enemy to turn around and let your teammates break through. He has excellent vertical mobility letting him contest highground on maps like Gibraltr where a highly perched enemy widow/soldier/pharah can totally choke out on offense. His ult is fantastic at pushing the payload through the final stretch or clearing a point.
He barely even has counters too, Mei is effortless because you can just backpedal and throw stars at her if she tries to do her stupid freeze gun shit, and you can dash away if you make a mistake. Winston doesnt have the same mobility so you can just run away if he tries to bully you, plus his head hitbox is so big you can get a ton of damage on him and easily outrange and kite him. His biggest annoyance is torbjorn because a live turret will prevent you from dragon-blading, but fortunately torb is a trash character.

Well you have to understand that Symmetra is a situational pick to begin with. On the maps she excels at, such as Hanamura and Volskaya, she can down a Zarya getting past a chokepoint or trying to capture a point. Proper placements of the turrets will lets you Drop Zarya since she would need to shoot at multiple directions to destroy turrets while also having to deal with your beam. All this damage may fuel her shield, but the damage won't drop off after the shield goes down and you'll most likely win most fights. But running up to a Zarya with your beam is most what I meant, which should be obvious. Symmetra is obviously all about placement.

She's actually not that bad at all. You can sit on the turret and spam your shit away like a turret. If there is a sniper or someone on a top ledge you can fly up there to harass or kill them.
When your mech dies, you can stay near the payload and spam away to get a new one, it's basically a massive self heal. She is tanky, can soak up most ults if you just save your E.
Ultimate can be used to clear sentry nests, or heavy choke points.
I never realized before since I thought she was completely fucking garbage. She is actaully not bad on payload.

I was in the exact same low-skill bracket I was before I decided to throw caution to the wind, but I guess there's something to be said for playing a character you're most familiar with over a character that's technically better overall but you're less good at them.
