Wise anons, when should I generally play Mercy or Lucio as support?
My aim is garbage for gun classes, but I think I'm decent enough at flitting between players with Guardian Angel, but I find myself focused down a lot faster as Mercy as opposed to Lucio as my only escape/avoidance ability is my team (either through them killing threats or being positioned so that I can escape from a threat to them).
Is there any matchups where you wouldn't want a healer on your team?

There are matchups where I don't want Mercy on my team. Lucio and Zen can contribute damage so they're always welcome.

I mean people want more support people to be healers, rather than more interesting ways for them to assist other team members as their primary function.
Zenyatta is a great idea for a support character. Yes he can heal, but it's not that great of a heal and his main support function comes in being able to augment his teams damage on targets.
Symmetra can be helpful, but I feel like she needs to get her sentries faster/have a larger pool of them to start. She can't hold an area on her own, but her sentries make it easier for everyone else to hold it, and her shields can be surprisingly helpful so long as you're not just sitting in fire constantly taking damage.
Even Lucio's speed boost is another great thing. Lucio should never just be sticking to one song, switching between his heal and speed boost is essential in keeping your team on track.
I just don't want more supports just being fucking healers. Right now support is "Okay we need one of these guys to heal" and then nothing else. It's barely it's own category.

In Europe it's almost nonexistent. I have 83 hours played and the only instance I can remember is one indian guy on a payload match saying "push push" once, and one guy constantly coughing on his mic. That's it.
Is this because of the language barrier in Europe?

In my experience Lucio is really good on KoTH maps, although using him on any map is still decent. He has two modes for his aoe one is a speed boost which should be used normally, the healing one I change to when people start taking a little too much fire then switch back when everyone is healed up. His amp it up increases the effect of which ever "song" you have selected, faster movement or faster healing. His ult is great for when your team is pushing or the enemy team is pushing.
Mercy is good but really needs a team to help watch out for her, or be a decent enough shot to take down enemies since her gun is decent. She can focus heal someone faster but like you encounter people really like to target her since her ult revives a team and can undo a push or defense. On defense since the spawns are so far away a Mercy helps cause instead of waiting for respawn and walking back you can instantly put them back in the fight. Really it's just whichever you feel you do better with.

I've put the voices in various languages to try out the dubs, here is my verdict.
Russian>English>Japanese>Chinese>French
I think I'm still gonna use english most of the time but some russian voices are amazing. Roadhog and zenyatta especially. And all of them fit.
Japanese only has some intresting voices like widowmaker going full ara ara~ but others seem out of character compared to the english dub.
Chinese is mediocre except for mercy.
French is the cringiest shit. Maybe it's because I'm french but zarya and lucio sound like street trash and the rest just seem to be tv voice actors. Maybe give it a shot if you're not french and like cheesyness.

To be honest, I turned off mic volume for a very large potion of my time played because early on most of the people I played with using mics had annoying music playing through them or were coughing/making noises constantly.
I recently turned it back up and surprisingly one in maybe five or six matches has someone talking and attempting to coordinate. I'm tempted to plug my headset back in to talk back.

Here's a few things to keep in mind.

I like how easy it is to tell who's using aim bots in this game. Getting killed and watching the replay to see their cursor suddenly and instantly snap to the center of your character model is a dead giveaway. It makes reporting those fucks a lot simpler.

Your shields only last 2 seconds or for 200 hp, whichever happens first, but damage done to them increases your own damage. Use your own shield when you're under fire, use them more reactionary, rather than preemptively. It may be difficult to aim your primary fire, but learn how to use it, you can melt people in no time with it. Roadhogs can only live for three seconds in your 100% charged beam.

She's an absolute tank shredder and a pain in the ass if you can get those knock off kills and interrupt ults.
He enormous amount of armor makes her a nightmare to burn though as anything but a handful of heroes, even more so when you've got a healer nearby.
However her giant as fuck crit box makes it easy for someone like reaper or hanzo just just annihilate your mech in 2 seconds flat.

I find Winston to be hella fun, you just need to remember that you're not a big damage dealer, you're a tank and an occasional back line harasser. Stay with your team, jump to attack weaker characters, then jump back to your team.

Ur supposed to leap out of the shadows into their flank, soften their hides for a few seconds, negate their shit when they turn to you, then jet back to your healer. You should be causing plenty of chaos, killing a healer and/or backliner, getting them to waste buttons, and never leave the suit. Rinse repeat until ult, at which point they should be conditioned to turn and fight you but ur suit is gonna blow up in their faces.
Why people think "tank" means eat fire in this game is beyond me. It takes Reinhardt's 2000 hp shield to do that. 500 is not very much.

Except half the pellets won't be headshots and some won't hit the target even if you hook in a Roadhog. Also armor cuts that in half. Also also you still need to land the hook on a tank and hit all or most of pellets. Also also also while you're hooking stuff you're immobile.
