D.Va and Winston are in the "I can fly anywhere I want" class. Their biggest strength is they get to pick their fights. All these people talking about "but blah blah does low damage" or "blah blah hitbox" or "I can totes 1v1" don't get it. Our experiences may differ, but I find that a large target like D.Va fares poorly when used to "suppress". At least mag dumping down a chokepoint in CSGO can kill someone, so it at least has the potential to "suppress".

I really hope ranked doesn't allow switching, or has some sort of draft or something. Being able to just hard counter a class, just to be hard countered a few moments later gets pretty stale, and completely trivializes the concept of proper team composition.
And as a casual player, it means you often get stuck playing characters you don't enjoy simply because you're encouraged to switch constantly

Actually you literally can't because you would have to boost after her and then shoot her which cancels your boost, but you can fly after her and hope that you don't land awkwardly in the middle of the enemy team, or if you do you at least have your self-destruct ready to go.
Also it isn't Bastion, it's practically everyone else. Zenyatta, 76, Mcree, Mei, Widow, Hanzo... and just about anyone else that can score a headshot.
Most people aren't complaining about her damage so much as her range is the shortest for no reason. If they wanted to make her incredibly close range they should have removed her movement speed debuff and maybe increased her guns damage just a little bit.
