neobrain hasn't done any citra work for months.
However, a tranny has joined the development team and already contributed more than that talentless hack.

Trannies(too many to list), pederasts(byuu), nazis(SP), split dicks and other degenrates are the future of emulation.

idk m8, gender dysphoria and mild aspergers have always been really common in teenagers, and most of the time they really do just grow out of it.

I know from personal experience. I'm pretty sure my life would have been ruined if I had had people egging me on to actually act on those feelings.
>>
>>137147073
Doesn't just about every (worthwhile) emulator have sync anyway? I'm ignorant about latency though, what does RA do differently than others in this aspect?

>>137147515
No, just clueless about RA. I was wondering if it did anything I cared about better than any of the standalone emulators I already have configured and whatnot. (Mednafen, Mupen64Plus and Higan, they cover the systems I care about emulating.)
>>
>>137145116

>>137149038
He's not talking about vsync, he's talking about the rate control that's applied to audio so that the emulation is perfectly synced to display. Without it, emulators will generally stutter, drop frames, or have gaps in the audio, depending on whether or not it is blocked on audio.

I'm trying to find a way to get per-core settings to stay set. The first thing I do to each core is set the browser directory. So:

>load mgba core
>set content folder to /GBA
>start any game then close so it will save
>load mupen64 core
>set folder, start/close etc
>load mgba core again
>it's still on the N64 content folder

I don't understand. This is literally exactly what some guy on Youtube does and it doesn't work for me. The core configs show their correct directories like you can see in that screenshot.

Because it technically doesn't load mGBA and your mGBA settings until you run a GBA ROM.

I really can't see a situation where you're going to get this to work the way you want it to

Furthermore, for personal, security, and competitive reasons, the source code to BWS will not be released to the public. But you can trust me that my emulator is very accurate. There's no reason to use accuracy because it only affects literally one game.

>>137190571

Are you using standalone? Because bsnes/higan standalone only supports integer scaling afaik. If you don't like that, use Retroarch with the bsnes core instead.
>>
>>137200345
I think that's maybe the secondary part of it (even though you can use a mouse in current RA but it isn't optimal), but partially the two things help each other. Less space between options makes it easier to glide from option to option with a mouse vs just a long list that is more designed for a controller

>>137179985

I patched Treasure of the Rudras with the translation patch using Lunar IPS but when I try to run it in bsnes mercury accuracy, it just shows a black screen.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

I've got at least two other games I want to do this with (seiken densetsu and Marvelous) and I would rather avoid having issues every time.
>>
>>137218997
Might be one of those patches that wasn't tested against real hardware, so it probably only works on Snes9x or ZSNES.
>>
>>137219069
I bet $5 it's supposed to work with a header rom, and you're using redump roms with no headers.

You can just use a hex editor to add 512 bytes to the beginning of the clean rom, and then patch it.

You might have to delete 512 bytes off the beginning again after it's patched, unless you want to build a valid header, or the patch completely overwrites the header.

I guess there's probably tools to do this automatically too, but I always just use a hex editor.
>>
>>137219069
Well that might be part of the problem.

I tried Snes9x Next and now I get sound but I still have a black screen. I don't know why a translation patch would fuck a rom so hard. Especially one that is as high profile as this.

Also, the rom I patched is from archive.org so the original rom shouldn't be the issue.
>>
>>137219732
I don't know. I loaded up the original rom just to see what it should look like when working and it seems to run fine.

>>
>>137220175
Being unheadered doesn't mean it's bad, it's actually better. It's just that the patch works by modifying specific addresses, so if the patch was made for a rom with a header, then it's not going to work on one without, or vice-versa.

I looked it up btw, and the patch does required a headered rom (not surprising since the final version was released in 2006) and archive.org roms don't have headers. So that is your problem, just do what I said here >>137219732

>byuu
Byuu is a nazi pederast.

"Why in the name of God would people trying to deceive the public ANNOUNCE that's what they were doing in the title of the office and the head position associated therewith? Libtards are literally THAT stupid."

That they are.

Jews resent and despise us partly I believe as a race because on one hand they know we really are the "master race" meaning we are the most creative and inventive and productive race to of ever existed on this planet and this naturally fills them with resentment (what with they being a naturally inferior parasite) but I can't help but think they despise us even more greatly for our gullibility and naievity to so easily fall for their tricks and deceptions despite our being the "master" race.

Jews for example have told laughable whoppers which are supposed to be emasculating towards our race and the national socialist ideology such as Hitler supposedly only having one testicle or better yet Hitler supposedly has both African and Jewish ancestry making him a mixed race black, Jew, white racial ghoulash.

White libtards and other naieve types (white or not) gobble this slop up like it's gospel truth and meanwhile the Jews themselves have such chutzpah/arrogance that they don't even care that this line of propaganda would serve to backfire on them if only people woke up/suddenly somehow became more intelligent.

The reason being is if you are following me here Jews have already propagandized Hitler into being the most evil person that has ever existed so if he suddenly becomes a black and Jewish man doesn't that mean we supposed "white supremacists" were correct all along when we say that Jews/blacks are the worst/most evil individuals on this planet?

The Jews probably thought this all through to it's conclusion but sadly for us realized our racial collective wouldn't be bright enough to pick up on the discrepancy/hypocrisy and so ran with this ridiculous latest smear campaign anyway.
>>
>>137257109

You don't have to be intelligent in order to code emulators (see delroth)
>>
>>137257334
https://www.stormfront.org/forum/search.php?searchid=18640955
>>
>>137257109
Literally anyone can code emulators if they have access to docs, it doesn't take particularly large amounts of intelligence to make an emulator that works.

Example: the 10 billion NES emulators that have been written
>>
>>137257426
Delroth coded mostly just an audio though it's still more than what SP can do.
>>137257269

>>
>>137257746
>10 billion NES emulators that have been written
And 99% of them are useless so coding a NES emulator that is good is hard. Much harder than refactoring frontends and cores coded by other people.
>>
>>137257746

Not to mention lifting wholecloth from the N64 SDK / oman archives :).

I have yet to come across any kind of reversing that wasn't lifted wholecloth out of Nintendo's official sources. You will notice that the microcodes whose sources were released are all emulated in HLE perfectly, anything else : nope.

There is some experimental HLE microcode reversing in Rice (Rogue Squadron/Last Legion LX), which for some reason none of these 'talented N64 emudevs' (not even Gonetz) managed to do anything with. Rogue Squadron is missing the terrain map, while Last Legion LX's doesn't render the polygon models.

So, in other words, less talk and more action. Start proving how skilled and intelligent you are by fixing the obviously broken stuff that is out there.

Hell, I'll set the bar even lower for you: start out by taking z64gl, and rewriting it around a GL 2.0/3.0 feature set. Just show *anything* that shows you are the dev you claim to be that is oh so significant.

Anybody posting on an anime imageboard by extension is a beta faggot.

I have to wonder why you have such an unhealthy obsession with the dude. Are you a gay faggot or something? Where does all this resentment come from really? I think you are really a pathetic individual to be so bothered about a guy who doesn't even know you exist. Hell, he doesn't even know you EXIST, how pitiful is that LOL for a guy whom hates him so much? It's like if The Joker in some alternate universe hates Batman so much and tries to thwart his plans but Batman literally doesn't even know of his existence because he is such an insignificant bit player that he doesn't rise above the level of an Arkham Asylum petty thief. And ironically enough, the very same people that manage to reach that stage (of a bsnes / nestopia ) are typically the same kind of 'jobless losers' that he decries SP to be. How's that for some irony and projecting coming full circle for ya :).

Byuu definitely fit that stereotype, he doesn't even have a formal education and he admits he flunked math in highschool. So I dunno why that argument even gets employed at all. Normie people don't spend all this time on (in the grand scheme of things) insignificant childhood box emulators. That is the realm of autists. Better appreciate it for what it's worth, this is all you've got and 'normies' haven't been doing much for you lately now have they?

I don't know about nestopia's dev but punes is better and its dev has a job. I heard byuu has a job too. How do you know rdanbrook and byuu are unemployed? They aren't pushing commits 24h a day like SP.
>>
>>137259042
I don't know but you see for yourself.
>>
>>137259076
Who cares who is unemployed and who isn't? As long as they are making shit for us to use, who gives a fuck?

It's almost like you're insecure about your own employment status.
>>
>>137259076

Ah, I like it when people think that pushing a lot of commits == no job and no income :) So in essence, you want to hold the fact that people push a lot of commits to their project against them :) Cute one. I guess you hate the project so much and the 'thunder' it steals from your little emudevvie's hands that you would love to see it fail. But it just 'doesn't' after all these years :). Honestly dude, it's time to give it up and change gameplans, this ain't working out for ya :)

Honestly, what's it to you? You aren't able to prove shit anyway, and even if you were, it's none of your business to begin with.

If I were you, I'd focus more on your own bitchass loser life :)

So is it over-exaggerated how badly AMD FX CPUs run PCSX2 or Dolphin? I got an i5 when I built my PC a few years ago because everyone everywhere said "DON'T GET AN AMD CPU FOR DOLPHIN/PCSX2" but there are videos all over youtube of people running demanding games like MGS3 and F-Zero GX on 8350s. I'm probably going to wait until Zen to make the switch anyway, but is all the hysteria just from people who haven't actually tried using AMD CPUs?
>>
>>137305623
Yes, as someone with an 8350 and used to have a Phenom II, I can tell you it is very exaggerated.

It's true that if you want the best $400 cpu, then Intel is your only option, but there isn't much disparity at the same price points, Intel fanboys just really like to shitpost about it for some reason.
>>
>>137305048

Can I get a shot of how this would look normally?

Or at least can you tell me the specific game?

Shin Megami Tensei

NES RPGs are almost always bad in a modern sense. Not enough stimulation

It's actually very easy to verify

1) go to retroarch irc
2) talk about how (insert random emudev name) is great / nice and has this awesome feature in his emulator
or
2) complain about retroarch core missing some useful stuff or not being up-to-date compared to standalone

3) ask if improving retroarch / libretro core is possible

4) wait 5s for SP to notice your post between tworefactoring commits

5) enjoy 10 minutes of unrelated rants about emudevs / economy / politics and how everybody is wrong

Is there a specific settings for Cemu 1.4 to not crash?

im on a [email protected], GTX 970, latest nvidia driver.

New Super Mario Bros runs fine until I try to enter the game from the main menu, then it crashes every time.

found some files on their leddit that fixed the problem

https://www.reddit.com/r/cemu/comments/4cmh12/does_anyone_know_how_to_get_new_super_mario_bros/

however it isnt running smothly, saw many videos on youtube were a guy had a pretty old CPU but ran it 60FPS with no spikes.

There's nothing to even "reverse" because the RSP is well documented. All someone has to do is read the assembly code.

>There is none that have talent.
Ok buddy :) .

>>137317725
>Programming doesn't even need talent, it is just application of logic, nothing more.
Then tell me why a lot of people say programming is difficult.
>>
>>137339718
Oh I must be thinking of Megami Tensei then
>>

I've noticed a lot less raving from him more recently. If it was going on that much I'd be sure to idle his channel all day to catch the fun

Is that the work of tapcio or something else?
>>
Just a quick question, is Pokopom compatible with Epsxe?

Ayyyy

Then why can't gontz do just that?
>>
>>137352041
ICatBuster or something like that.
>>
>>137294768
At higher you won't see the difference.

>Then why can't gontz do just that?
Because he doesn't really know the RSP well.

Doing HLE is time consuming, but it's not very difficult.
>>
>>137356194
>Then why can't gontz do just that?
Because he barely knows shit, and he's already made his money, so why bother? Maister's going to be the one saving N64 emulation anyways.

gonetz is one of only 3-4 people who somewhat understands the N64's GPU
