The big thing that made me my fortune was buying hypercrates off the GTN, sit on them for months, then sell the packs individually. I'd usually triple my money like that, but only if the pack had really desirable items.
The Architect's Stronghold Packs in particular were good to me. I was selling the individual packs for 600-800k a piece, when I got the hypercrate for ~5m.

If you don't want to deal in cartel stuff I'd recommend augments. They tend to go cheap during weekdays and during the weekend the prices are jacked up some 20-40% over weekday price. It's a gamble though. It's important to understand that anything you buy you have to list items you buy at above 6% of purchase price to break even unless you do direct trades.

What the fuck are you talking about? Powertech uses nothing but gadgets. Or are you complaining that you can't use gadgets while dual wielding at the same time? Why would you want to? The no rifle complaints make more sense than that.
You should be able to sort your companions in your crafting window by influence. It's so annoying having to scroll through this massive list of no-name random NPC filler companions they gave you for no reason just to find the ones you have high influence with to send them on missions and crafting.

1. This has literally never been an excuse for anything in the Star Wars universe, and overcompensation is a staple of Bounty Hunting both in Star Wars and the real world.
2. Both posterboy bounty hunters from the movies dual wield and use a fuckton of gadgets.

It's not like that at all, recently a few BFags thought it was a good idea to spawn a new general even though they never tried discussing it here at all for some odd reason, and so they did, it's only a matter of camaraderie new BF players coming here are now being directed there to keep them afloat.
Not a bad short-term thing to do if you ask me, but the whole point of keeping this general SW-related and not game centric is long-term survival, which I'm not really sure is something BF will achieve over time, just like every other SW game to date. If it does, great, if it doesn't, well they can always come back and try again here.

There's a huge dip in quality with my character's reaction on planet arc missions compared to his class missions. It's really jarring.

I came here for KotOR and stood for a bit before trying out TOR again, stop talking shit. I also jump in whenever SWG is mentioned.

So you may want to reconsider how much you want these things before you grind yourself to exhaustion. If your need for them isn't particularly urgent, then you could always put it off, grind the money while preferred over the next four months instead of eleven days, and thenget a referral and buy the stuff during your week of free sub time.

How could it? 4 extra minutes a day would add an extra 24 hours and 20 minutes every 365 days. Even if that extra quarter day somehow compensated, you'd still be left with 3/4 of an extra day every year, which would still cause a large enough shift in our day/night cycles to be easily noticeable in a matter of months.
Also the extra quarter day doesn't compensate at all because we don't actually add it on until after 4 years have passed, giving us roughly one extra day. The leap year doesn't shift the time of day at all.

I will admit, I never heard of a sidereal day before, but the other guy did a shitty job of explaining it. The difference in time comes from whether you define earth's rotation relative to the sun or relative to the vernal equinox. Neither one is more "correct" than the other physically, and it's still dumb to say that the leap year somehow compensates for the extra 4 minutes. There is no compensating to be done because the solar day is the one that people generally use, and the one that the 365.25-day year is based on.

How are people seriously having trouble leveling solo? In any non-heroic area you can still go afk and let your companion kill everything by himself. In heroic areas it's still incredibly easy to win fights even if you just spam your class's basic attack. I don't even use healing companions at all and the game is still easy as fuck. Marksman's like the end all be all in terms of dps performance with I think engineering being the more involved of the two direct deeps specs. Marksman doesn't take much to get into or maintain, you'll have to get become tighter with your rotation if you wanna go higher in marksman. You're right about virulence being dots the spec.

focus/rage gets some DR stuff too and movement impair removal on intercede. also the massive enrage cd reduction works well with that t1 talent that makes it break roots/snares and increase movespeed. they have just as much pvp utility as vengeance desu. and the smashes are not single target anymore, FB is for ST and smashes are still for aoe damage, you can do both procced in an opener
