I played P3FES on pcsx2, except for some minor sound and texture bugs it ran fine. I then played up to right after Yukiko's dungeon on P4 before I got a PStv and Golden. P4 ran worse, I got alot of sound bugs in combat. Lots of texture issues aswell.

Aigis has a better design, has the niche appeal of being a robot, is much more plot relevant, and even though her personality just boils down to 'I will protect you, I love you so much I am a real girl now, never forget' it's still prominent enough that people can identify it (more like, you would have to be dense to not identify it) (by identify I also mean being able to think of scenes that demonstrate her personality traits) and find it appealing (because after all it is a cute girl saying that she will never leave YOU)

Aigis' plot relevance is nothing but more excuses to say "I will be by your side". And a clingy robot girl is just a stereotype, which is the same as Yukiko's yamato nadeshiko one. The only difference is that Aigis' stereotype is much more flashy and anime, while Yukiko's is something very mundane.
Yukiko has the hyena laugh and psycho side, those aren't much, but they are a unexpected turn to her stereotype. Aigis however doesn't even have that, she plays her role word by word, actually being one of the most plain robot girls I have ever seen in anime. The only thing I concede her is that her design is very pretty and a traditional Japanese girl can't compete with all the robotic accessories that make Aigis interesting to look at.

She is consistently the focus of scenes, and she has actual plot relevance in the form of sealing death in MC. The importance of her being plot-relevant here is that she gets a fuckton of screentime all to herself with everything else goes on time out, and the game gets to show off her 'i will be by your side' thing, and whenever you consider the actual plot, you can't just ignore Aigis' relevance. Yukiko doesn't get this.

Yukiko is not actually a yamoto nadeshiko. Which is part of why she's not popular. If she actually was a nadeshiko, she may appeal to people who like nadeshikos. She looks like one, but once you start to consider her actual behavior (as little as it is--but if you're interested in her, you'll do this) it becomes clear that she's not what a nadeshikofag is looking for.

Again, I think this is part of why Aigis is popular and Yukiko isn't. With Aigis you get what you see on the can. Yukiko you don't, so if she appeals to you at first glance, she probably actually won't appeal once you give her closer inspection. The things about her you find boring are things that make her well-liked and popular among the demographic that she was designed to appeal to, and she gets a lot of screentime and relevance so that she can show those traits off.
Yukiko is boring not because her specific traits are boring so much as because she just doesn't have many specific traits, and she doesn't get much screentime to show off the ones she does have. Further, even the demographic who would be expected to like her don't really like her, because the traits she has don't appeal to them either.
The end result is that no one really likes Yukiko to a significant degree, like you get with other waifus.

I think the chances of some sort of P4 cameo are pretty damn good. With that said, I doubt we'd ever see anything truly meaningful. It'd either be some background character/social link, the character would only be spoken of and not scene (some guys talking about Rise, or someone talking about the "Detective Prince").
At the very most, it'd be something like Rise holding a concert in Tokyo, but never really appearing on screen.
