IS there a good MMO that's social? Something like WoW that requires some level of skill but not something that requires so many addons, updates and a heavy time investment. In the past I've enjoyed Battlefield1942, L4D and WoW.

Have you played Nuclear Throne? If you don't already have it, I suggest getting it before getting Gungeon. It's a lot faster paced and difficult than Gungeon is. Gungeon isn't particularly a bad game, but if you're looking to spend as little money as possible, I'd suggest buying Nuclear Throne first.

In essence it's just a sandbox for building ships, vehicles and bases. There's resource gathering if you want or you can just play a sort of creative mode. As far as I know there's no real campaign yet.
Everything's built out of cubes and angle pieces with things attached, the building system is pretty simple.

My friend forced me to finish Borderlands and The Graveyard was gifted to me and is like 4 minutes long but everything else is me.
