so I know that some of the decision games will be decided by RNG, ie, you bet on the coin toss but which side comes up can be different each playthrough
But as we can probably expect you probably have to get both "results" at least once in order to fully complete the game
So does that mean you can end up being unlucky and having to playthrough a segment like 10 times because the RNG keeps sending you down the path you've already been down?
Or is there a system in place to guarantee that each time you play you get a result you haven't gotten yet?

However it looks like the game will reward people for trying to find all the different outcomes.A example of this is a game where the Q team must roll a dice and if it lands on 1 then you die. Therefore you could get 3 snake eyes and everyone dies. It seems there's even a achievement for this.

For 999? I don't remember Knife ending being that important, but they should at least get Sub ending. That had its own unique puzzle room and background info on some of the characters iirc. Ax ending is good because it establishes some more characters, but it doesn't really have much unique content iirc. If you're hurting for time, I'd do Sub > Safe > True, but if you want all the cool bits, I'd do Ax first. Then you could do the early route to Sub, then Safe and True.

Some of the puzzles in VLR are so convoluted than in 999.
The puzzles were also shit to play on the 3ds, since youre using the bottom screen with a crappy filter to click on shit, while the top screen was much easier to see shit in.
The Dpad was much more useful in 999 and the shortcuts in VLR just annoyed me more than they helped

That rarely happens. Like when Soul Calibur 5 was available for a week before launch on EC and there still wasn't a rip until a scene group got it a few hours before launch.
I guess it's probably more likely for a 3DS game, since it's so easy to access CFW/HBL, but I don't have my hopes up unless someone from here confirms they're able to get it and dump it.

If you're on latest FW, use Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Freakyforms Deluxe to install Homebrew Launcher, and dump the cart through that.
If you aren't on latest FW, downgrade to 9.2 and install CFW.
