Are you kidding? Rev Odin starts by fucking you by proxy by not allowing you to bring better units because of all the fuckers you get in his map. Given fuckers die in one round - or one hit, like Odin - to fucking everything in that map. A map you can't save before it.
Rev Odin also tinks everything in said map. Blindness can be fixed by a Fire tome or a forge if you so desire, but Odin actually contributes negatively if you're doing a full recruitment run by simply how awful he is.

My main issue with Hayato is, while he has speed over Orochi and Skill over Nyx, he's the middle ground between it. Revelations promotes grinding, so I don't see any issue in doing it if you feel like it. Besides, you could always baby the fuck out of any unit if you've sworn off grinding. Odin does stomp Nyx in Conquest, since he doesn't die to a stiff breeze. Odin is very good if you care enough.
