rolf is basically unuseable unless you dump ALL your bonus exp on him instead of the like half dozen units that can benefit from that way more and he doesn't even have the growths to justify it
by the time you get him boyd can almost be a warrior due to how many spear users are thrown your way and he's almost guarenteed to be one by the time crows show up (not that it matters because fe9 nerfed bonus damage hard) so he'll be a way better archer with his health and strength stats that aren't garbage
he even has better supports
