It's self explanatory, more combos to be used depending on situation.
Quick and easy to understand examples:
1. R1, R1 combo into an L1 combo transformation allows you to maintain your DPS while also simultaneous transforming your weapon
2. R1, R1 (with the Demon Axe) allows you to do one sweep attack (to be used on groups of enemies) with the second R1 being a downward slam attack that can be used to single out an enemy from the group (perhaps the strongest one). Vice versa would be the R1, L2 combo that allows you to maintain two sweep attacks to keep damaging the group as a whole.
It's self explanatory, more move sets typically allows for more depth. Witcher 3 doesn't even allow you to consistently use specific moves seeing as Geralt me give a typical slash with one 'X' button press but completely break out into spinning flip shit with another 'X' button press.
This is purely due to CDPR desigining Witcher 3s combat around style over substance, something Bloodborne managed to strike a fine balance between (with Dark Souls games being pure substance with little style on average).

It's an example, most weapons in Bloodborne have 25-30 movesets each with their own niche and purpose. Witcher 3s weapons all perform near identically (if not they DO perform identically).

If this is the case, then mount & blade objectively has the most complexity from any of these kinds of games. It has the largest range of movement, and an enormous weapon variety, directional blocks, and feinting. So more moves = more complex is just a retarded criteria to conclude that one game is objectively more complex than another. I think they're totally different beasts, but that's not possible based on the criteria put for by people like you. The witicher absolutely has less variety to its melee weapons, but when you get down to the meta of the combat in terms of movement and attacks, I just don't buy for a second the more moves = more complexity assertion. I think the level of complexity is way closer in reality than the gulf put forth by people like you.
Realistically, I would say the one thing that bloodborne legitimately has over the witcher 3 is parries/activating finishers. The timing is just that bit more important in bloodborne.

Meh it's too context sensitive, especially with the speed of some of the enemies in bloodborne. Unless your opponent is so slow or predictable that you can consistently get into combos on them, most of the time in bloodborne you're going to be dancing around with a meta comparable to the witcher 3. Which is why I don't buy that even though there's more variety to the combat in bloodborne, it's inherently more complex. At the end of the day, what you're actually doing in terms of controlling the player character is quite similar.
