I hope that "Ciri's game" is never a thing. The worst thing about the series is how the "Ancient Evil Awakens and the Chosen One must defeat them" trope completely distracts the series from its strengths. This is why the short stories are held to higher regard than the main entries.
Also, Ciri just isn't that much of an interesting character both within the book and the video game series. I'd imagine any obsession with her on here is more tied to a sexualised fetishisation of the character rather than the view that she is actually a legitimately well written character. not that far in but the centipedes and archespores are a bit different. The archspores spawn bulbs that if you get near to they explode. The archspores can only teleport between these bulbs. The centipedes more or less have the same spit attack but can leap at you / only attack with stabs rather than the swipes of the spores. Also for something that lets me cusomize the HUD. The minimap is so fuckhueg and HUD elements are generally so close to the center of the screen that it becomes really jarring.
