Is already more popular than LoL in Korea. What went so right here that the others shooters did wrong? I mean, not even that one console shooter with millions of publicity grew as much as Overwatch in the same time, with this huge amount of popular culture surrounding it.

3.8M isn't a huge budget. Back in the PS2 era that would have been the budget for a sort of big game for one console before marketing and licenses. It's no mystery. But yeah, they should have limited it to fewer platforms and waited for the game to take off before releasing more, better optimized versions for other platforms.

Why is nintendo so based? They show they're not taking shit or any nonsense, also they're giving youtubers and let's players the boot by not letting them profit from their IP without paying royalties. Absolutely based.
But yeah, fighting against emulation and piracy is, you could say, an uphill battle if not impossible, but you gotta respect them for taking a stance.

These guys are like the least qualified to have opinions on video games. I mean, both of them have really narrow scopes of games they will even touch, and even then especially Jack doesn't seem to really get the games.

Listening to them sounds like two old guys who haven't played anything that came out after 2000 and then found out they can make money reviewing games.
But it's fun to watch Rich's streams if he plays a turn-based strategy game with perma-death. Which he's good at. And seems to be all he does.
Jack is like the appearance of Rich in the HitB Super review. He has opinions for all the wrong reasons.

The worst thing is that they refuse to accept that difficulty is linked to the fun of a game.
The play games on easy like tlou, alien, and u4 and then complain that they are too casual.

And did you sincerely expect otherwise? Any game that's "competitive" has become full of shitty people willing to blame anyone and everything other than themselves for losing the game. Just look at any other competitive game, it attracts the same shitty crowd.
If you're serious about playing competitive, then do so with friends, make a team and go in as such.
