Why is sports vidya so frown upon and hated in /v/?
A lot of /v/ isn't interested in sports to begin with, and sports games tend to be almost entirely the same from one iteration to the next.
Plus, it's a video game for something you could easily go out and do.

Because it hasn't been worth playing for a decade. They just rehash the last game, add a miniscule feature, update the roster, and shove it out the door with a $60 price tag. There are no arcade sports games anymore that people who don't like sports will enjoy (RIP in peace EA Big).

Beetle is fun and all but Leaf is the best since it destroys bosses in seconds and makes you invincible to everything
Loved Triple Deluxe.
Still upset about the lack of a Zero keychain though. They made two for Dark Matter, but Zero got no rep? Hell, Kirby 64 was completely ignored.

There was no point in which the characters bonded and the two reached a position of father and surrogate daughter.
We went through the whole game with him trying to get rid of her. THEN FOR NO RAISIN HE FUCKS OVER MANKIND TO SAVE HER
There needed to be a chapter where they actually bond.
Also, the zombie sections were annoying and the game would have been better without them

Is it weird that I miss specialized memory cards? Especially now that every console has USB ports and you can just use a flash drive.

Yes.
"blocks" are fine. And yes, people are stupid. My 16 year old cousin didn't know the difference between a GB and a MB until last week.
