So many threads lately about X-COM and whether to buy Enemy Within. Here's the shit you need to know anons:
1) Get Enemy Within, improves the game significantly
2) Go to the X-COM Nexus site and read up on Long War
3) If you want something seriously hardcore and masochistic, download, install it and play it without adjusting it
4) If you want to make adjustments to the Long War mod check the forums on 'Modding Long War' on the mod's page on Nexus
You can mod so many aspects of it: enemy health, your soldier's health, aim, will, mobility (base and improvements), research and build time, starting power, perk bonuses...
We don't need Firaxis' shitty code.
Long War is great, I didn't even touch vanilla Enemy Within.
What's funny is haven't even done any genetic mods or cybernetic mods on my soldiers and I already beat EXALT
