As far as Halo is a shitty series past 2, Reach was kind of okay. It was a shitty console shootan but it was probably the best consoles could get.

The first 20 minutes are fun, then after that it's just getting raped by skeletons.

I look at games like The Forest, DayZ, Rust, Stranded Deep and Unturned and don't really think of Minecraft, sure they have some similarities, but I don't really consider Minecraft to be the trend setter of the "survival game with building."
Minecraft is more a "building game with half assed survival."
If Bloodborne turns out to be shit I think am done with this hobby for good.

Holy shit, the gameplay is perfect now. All the little improvements make it literally perfect.

I agree with on EVERYTHING except this.
They're two very very very different games, and arguably the combat in monster hunter is a lot deeper, and not even that similar to dark souls. Its a really stupid comparison to make, OP.

Does the lenght of a game matters that much?
5 hours for a movie is pretty long I think.
Depends on what that length constitutes.
A 60 hour game that doesn't feel padded is excellent. But if you have a 60 hour just for the sake of being a 60 hour game, full of padding and boring shit, then I'd much rather have that game be 6 hours instead.
Time is money.
A 5-hour game is fine, but should not cost $60.
