Smash is getting it's final DLC announced THIS December!
Here's why I think it would be Daisy.
• Peach and Rosalina made it in, so why not complete the set?
• There has been no female character DLC so far despite there being a female option in the ballot. Daisy has been in more games than any other female besides Peach, and she's still not in Smash!
• She has not been a proper alternate for Peach, probably because the two have too many differences for it to be feasible. I just can't imagine Daisy summoning Peaches, hiding behind Toads, and putting people to sleep.
• Her only trophy in Brawl was has Striker outfit, and her main sticker was....the Striker outfit. Well Peach didn't have a Striker outfit trophy did she? Maybe she was considered in Brawl!
• She has multiple trophies in Smash 4, but no NPC role. Only really important Nintendo characters get multiple trophies.
• Rosalina was revealed in December two years ago, maybe Daisy's trailer will involve her beating the living daylights out of her and the Peach swap!
• The Smash ballot has gave us a left field choice so far in the form of Cloud, who never topped unofficial polls. Daisy would be a very controversial and left field choice, yet she is usually well received in the games that she IS in.
• Princess Daisy is an awesome character to play as in party games! Her obnoxious yet endearing personality is great for trolling your friends, and Smash is a party game at heart.
Do you agree with these reasons? Before you say that she is an irrelevant spin-off character, she is always grouped with the rest of the main cast in artwork and such!

Daisy has nothing new to the table. It's a shitty re color. It's like hoping for waluigi, but waluigi has more stuff to work with to separate him from luigi.
Play as a different color peach and say, " hi I'm daisy!" The whole time.

It's alright, the controls are kind of annoying, and you'll definitely be disappointed if you go in expecting it to be anything like monster hunter.
