Shitposting aside I just started playing this game and it is good but the framerate is literal eye cancer.

Expect it not to work. Seriously I'd wait until they actually release a patch. It's fun but unless you have a top tier PC, it's almost definitely gonna be unplayable, and even if you do have a beast machine, it still might not work. I guess if you're on console there's no hope for improvement anyway, so then go ahead. Game's fun, when it works.

Bloodborne, while a good game, has a fatal flaw: it's control scheme. Movement is way too simple and easy for beginners, and the controls for combat make no sense. You can control your left and right hand, which is great, but not your legs. What sense does that make? Now compare the system the Tekken series uses. That series uses the Superior Limb Based Combat system, which gives full and total control over your character. You can punch and kick using any of your 4 limbs.
Yes, Tekken is a fighting game, but the control system is one that should be applied to other almost all games(except puzzle games and such), as the amount of control it gives the player, makes it vastly superior to any other control scheme. Bloodborne could have had leg/feet weapons, and allowed for fighting styles that use kicks. It makes no sense why Miyazaki chose such a limited control scheme, wtf was he thinking? I hope for DS3 he uses Tekken's combat system and controls.

Never played Chrono Trigger before. Is the DS version good? Or would it be better to emulate the SNES version on a psp? I have the snes cart I just feel like playing it on the go
DS version is the best. Extra shit and the cutscenes of the PS1 port without the loading times.

personally i'm fine with no split screen but that's because it doesn't affect me. i can see why it bugged a lot of people and i'm sure it'll be back in the next installment. terrible decision not to have it in. and the ad campaigns for halo have never been accurate, but i get the gripe. hopefully the december DLC adds a lot of playlist content/options. game is in desperate need of a non-tryhard casual modo like action sack or grifball.

Every time /v/ boycotts a game, they end up buying it anyway, so despite all the hate for many big companies I doubt most of /v/ would be able to boycott a company. I know YB boycotted Sega and continues to do so.
