Never played it before, yesterday bought the GOT edition because why not. It's fun but ffs I've been grinding for blood echos in in the same location in central Yahrnam for 4 hours now so that I can level up. Is this all you do in this game?

a part of me wishes they gave this series its own name away from final fantasy
like Clouds Adventures or some shit like that
ff7 remake 1 ff7 remake 2 etc is going to look so bad when its done this isn't part of the final fantasy series and they already said they didn't want : type of titles or else it will feel like sequels to the original game Final fantasy 7 hardly makes any sense to begin with the number 7 really only connects to Tifas bar nothing else

It was my first M&L so the difficulty and linearity weren't really things that bothers me. If anything it makes the other games in the M&L series seem babby tier in terms of challenge

Haha, it has plenty of content. Each map is breathtakingly huge and detailed, every game you play is a whole new Star Wars experience.
What is the best class in Final Fantasy and why is it Red Mage?
>Versatile enough to use magic and strong physical attacks
>Great to put on the front line and hack away when you just need to get through a dungeon while conserving MP
>Great to hide in the back and cast magic when you're grinding by a save point
>You can equip the barehanded ability in FFV and have ultra powerful physical attacks as well as strong magic
>Just all-around the best class in the series
Why haven't you accepted Red Mage as the best class in Final Fantasy?

There hasn't been a case where you weren't better off having separate offensive and healing/support mage than a red mage or two.
Monks and Ninjas are usually strong in FF job system.
Summoner ranges from godawful to overpowered.
Mystic Swordsman is also pretty good.

Red Mage's versatility is extremely useful. I've got a party of them in FFV right now and it's great. Everyone can do everything.

I've finished FFV for the first time just recently. You must be in the very beginning if you think red mages are good.
For a physical attacker get a Ranger to learn its ultimate ability that hits four times and/or Ninja with dual-wield passive (which Freelancer inherits for free once you master it).
Or two-hand a sword with Sword Magic. The magic you can enchant it with depends on how advanced is your Black Mage job is. Drain or Flair enchanted swords wreck everything.
And for magic, Summoners are really strong in V, practically outclassing Black Mages altogether.

I got a new computer parts, I was hoping that they would make this for pc as well. I was gunna pirate it. Fuck man. Do you think they will ever put this on PC? how long do I have to wait? Im a huge fan of this game and wanted to play it after marathoning ton of Ghibli movies.

level-5 doesn't make PC games, they will have to outsource PC port to some shitty american or chink company and it will be a horrible port trust me.
Then again if they are feeling desperate they will make a port like a year later.
