I beat Crash 3 recently, and I'm sad now. We're never going to get another good Crash game, I accept that, but I'm still bummed. He's not even been kept alive on life support, putting out shitty games, like sonic, and because of that I'll never get him in Smash.
wrath of cortex wasn't that bad considering it wasn't naughty dog, only shit thing was the loading times

As someone who's never played a Visual Novel before, I decided to give in to see what they're like. I despise moe, is this a good starting point anyway? What am I supposed to expect?

The problem with Serious Sam 3 was that the last 3 levels were the only levels that really felt like Serious Sam, and by then the game was almost over.
I'm not sure what they were trying with the first couple of levels, it's like they wanted to make a modern linear shooter in small environments but decided to put it in a Serious Sam game.

I think they're good, just because some have been done poorly [Skyrim] doesn't invalidate the entire design choice.
Even so, when I find a AAA game is coming out and is "open world", it's usually a warning sign.

I think it depends on the game because games like oblivion or just cause lend themselves to open world games. It's when things like mgs and the witcher go open world after all the previous games being linear that it's shit

This. I've seen some footage & some parts look photorealistic, that and the animations are fucking great.
I've confidence in the gameplay by just watching the Ramuh summon, wonder what the other summons are like.
Not a fan of the formal character design though.
