Just started a new game of New Vegas. Forgot how comfy this game was.

Space Rangers 2. It's just so relaxing to cruise around trading, doing text quests and occasionally fighting off pirates. This is about the only game where fetch quests are actually fun to do.
Installed this again last night. Anyone got the tutorial images that were going around the other day? That shit was useful.
What armour is best to use, anyway? I've been rocking light because I kind of want to do a ninja/psi build. That a good choice, or should I go medium?
I tried to get into this game but got bored an hour in.
I wish they game made better use of the massive amount of space the levels take up

It's cool that they have SHODAN's original voice back and even if it turns out bad I'm glad it ended up back with the people who started SS rather than some random group with no apparent love for the series like what happened with Thief. Cautiously optimistic about it and Underworld.
Pressed for details, Armature co-founder and game director Mark Pacini humors me:
"RECORE, AT ITS HEART, HARKS BACK TO A DIFFERENT ERA IN GAMING." "ReCore, at its heart, harks back to a different era in gaming," Pacini says, "and trying to put a new spin on it, based on games that myself and Inafune-san have done in the past that aren’t really being done anymore." He name-drops games like Metroid and Zelda as possible inspirations.
When Pacini first met with Microsoft to discuss collaboration, he was skeptical. He’d been disappointed by the Xbox One’s reveal, particularly the emphasis on film and television, and was unsure he had interest in the console. Big publishers, he explains, also have a stigma of being too controlling, gradually expunging creative freedom from their partners with endless demands.
Microsoft came with a clear idea: a game for gamers. If ReCore really does turn out to be the Metroid / Zelda-like throwback Pacini hints at, then Microsoft will get what it wanted.
