There's a poll going on in a few hours over what the !*BEST GAME EVER*! is. And that poll is gonna be between one of the most over rated games of all time versus the most over rated game of the year.
Not in a long time have we had such a colossal battle of autism, the only way this could be better is if Sonic was involved somehow, this is going to be a match to see for sure.

-It's even worse nowadays, as it has aged like milk.

-Not even the game of the fucking month (Better games released that month: MGS V, Super Mario Maker)
-Pixel graphics

Guilty Gear Xrd and the Naruto games are the only 'two' which have a significant amount of effort put into creating an illusion of 2D, Xrd especially.
I recently picked up this after playing GZ and TPP, loving them, and want to play some of the older games. I finished Sons of Liberty in about 13 hours and it was probably the best video game experience I've ever had. I'm really disappointed that I already knew aboutthe Raiden twistbut the rest of the game's story blew me the fuck away and really made me think about the modern world and myrolein it. Not to mention how accurately it predicted the future.
I'm having trouble getting into Snake Eater though. The jungle setting isn't as exciting to me as the Tanker or Big Shell and Major Tom seems really fucking boring. I just got to Sokolov, saved and now I'm just doing the VR and Alternate missions in MGS2. I'm pretty concerned because I really want to like this game but it's not drawing me in like Sons of Liberty did. Does it get better? Is Peace Walker even worse?No spoilers outside of tags please.

I absolutely hate p2w unless I can afford it.I thought Dear Esther was a really good game and most people didn't give it a fair try. A Machine for Pigs was bad though.I've had more fun with HotS than I have with Dota 2 or LoL.
