You go with the Institute and get an actual story of some sort but endorse racism and kidnapping and murder, or you go with one of the other factions and they half-ass it.
i agree with that. However were the minuteman and the institute to join up, surface operations being delegated to the minuteman and scientific and material support provided by the institute the wasteland would be fucking set. plus it would be a fairly symbiotic relationship, with both sided benefiting.

What went right?
The shadows and lighting were top shelf. They still look great today.
The level design and enemy placement are just about perfect.
Great atmosphere and soundtrack, truly spooky and not in a cheesy over the top way.
The progression of difficulty was spot on.
The combat is still hip-fire strafey, just like it should be.
What went wrong?
It's too easy on veteran.
The "enemies spawn behind you" thing becomes a meme about halfway through the game.
The shotgun fucking sucks.
So does the PDA.
Combat is slow.
I was about 20 or so when the game first came out and i hated it. I wanted it to be more fast paced like the other two games.
I just played through it this year for the first time since then (i had never finished it before) and I gotta say, after 11 years i think the game was and is severely underrated.
Still sucks compared to the originals, but that goes without saying.

/v/ was right for a change, this is the best Final Fantasy there is. Also, is it fair to say that the quality of Final Fantasy games are now based on how much they are like Bravely Default?
It is absolutely nowhere near the best in the series, but it also doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. II, XIII, and arguably I, III and VIII are all worse

With the exception of the original Wii, every Nintendo console has sold less than previous ones.
Why do you think this is?
I believe it's because the following reasons
>Longer Japanese workdays/long rides on public transpot limit potential time for console use in comparison to mobile gaming
>They're not kind to 3rd parties
>They still focus on the family friendly image when fucking 5 year olds play CoD now, a decent online system is more important than protecting little jimmy from internet weirdos
>Hardware, they used to be fine on this but not anymore. They insist on making hardware profit when they have so many first party titles that could easily relieve selling at a loss day 1. Not to mention Constantly using a weak and well documented PowerPC means easy hacking/emulators, CEMU will be playable in 6-12 months because of this
N64 failed because lack of cds.
Gcn failed due to lack of third party support.
Wiiu failed because it can't play modern games.

Gamecube failed not because it was bad, but because the PS2 was a juggernaut, not to mention the lack of playing DVDs
