"Haven & Hearth is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend. The game sets itself apart from other games in the genre in its aim to provide players with an interactive, affectable and mutable game world, which can be permanently and fundamentally changed and affected through actions undertaken by the players. Our fundamental goal with Haven & Hearth is to create a game in which player choices have permanent and/or lasting effects and, thus, providing said players with a meaningful and fun gaming experience.
Players start the game surrounded by a vast and somewhat unforgiving wilderness, with only the most basic tools of survival at their disposal. The use of fire is a thematic focal point of the game's mythos, and an early and important task will be the simple lighting of one. As the first hearth fires disperse the darkness of the surrounding wilderness, more pressing questions will present themselves to the players: Who are they? Where are they? And, most importantly, where are they going? From this point on, players will have to blaze trails of their own into the unknown, the wilderness and the future, and explore and affect the world of Haven & Hearth using only their own best judgment and a chipped stone axe. Trust us, the stone axe is the shit.
As players progress, they will be able to acquire new skills and abilities, allowing them to perform a variety of tasks—such as the claiming of land, the construction of buildings and the cultivation of crops—each step forward making the basic task of survival somewhat easier. Having progressed far enough, players will, in time, be able to organize themselves into societies, from simple tribes and villages, progressing through republics, nation states and, ultimately, empires.

The game-time based subscription is frozen for the holidays so it's free to play unlimited amounts of time until the 4th of January! So its a great time to give it a try.

this has happened before. Counter Strike GO was fucking garbage on release, and now it's the 2nd most played game on steam
Even inside EA, Dice managed to fix the mess that was battlefield 4, and right now Nearly double the amount of players are playing that right now over battlefront.
So give your wishlist of things that need to happen to save battlefront.
I think voice chat and a server browser would help, and if not a server browser, than an improvement to the current matchmaking.

Just use the units you like and look up how to unlock other classes. If you start to have trouble in some of the later maps then simply leveling up a weapon in the Item world can make a big difference.

I have recently tried out several Japanese franchises - Yakuza (first game), Shin Megami Tensei (Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga) and Drakengard 1. What I've noticed is that they do their darndest to keep you engaged in endless trivial battle encounters. Trivial in a sense that it is very difficult to lose them but enemies still accost you every step of the way from point A to B. Every game also has quite simplistic combat patterns repeated ad nauseam.
Now, Yakuza is fun and easy through and through (disregarding tons of encounters) and its simplistic combat doesn't offer much challenge even for the bosses. SMT games usually have a boss that simply waves you away the first time you slog through to him. Drakengard was just tedious. Why do Japanese so adore this kind of endless, mind numbing grind? All I hear about that culture is that you're either Hikikomori or Salaryman. But why must these games waste so much of your time on stuff draging out what little differing content they have?
I am aware that this is also the case with many western games but I noticed Japan seems to be in love with trivial grind. At least you often do not have to craft in western games to get from point A to B.
