the problem is that if you aren't good at writing scripts, there isn't much available yet if you wanted to get into the deeper mechanics
Just use RPG Maker 2003 and if there's anything you can't do with that engine, graduate to Game Maker.
I guess RPG Maker MV is a cheaper alternative if you want to publish to mobile devices though.

Recommend me a game that has a lot of replay value through different character builds. Something that doesn't take 80+ hours to complete either. That last game I can think of that did this was dark souls 1. Lots of weapons, levels and enemies from the start of the game. A game either on ps3 or ps4 please. Are there any singleplayer games that center around a fast movement mechanic like Tribes skiing or Source surfing? Traveling huge distances doing it is really fun. Closest I can think of is Just Cause 2 but that's really slow/lame in comparison.
