Why isn't there a proper WH40K game? No I'm not talking about those shooters and RTS's. I'm talking about an actual WH40K wargame that follows the rule book.
GW are doing a good enough job of putting themselves out of business without any game developer's help.

Console sales have nosedived in Japan and publishers are looking for ways to make up that lost revenue. After seeing the success of Dark Souls on Steam, everyone else is jumping on-board.
It is either that, or turn to putting their games on mobile phones.
Even Sony has accepted this, and is allowing lots of multiplayer games to be cross-platform.

It functioned as a surefire assurance that THE PHANTOM PAIN would be all and more, but in reality
