I bought a Wii U just for that and didn't regret.
If you aren't turned off by the combat (some people hated the 'mmo style' combat in both this and XB1) then it's one of the best open world rpgs these last few years.
About 20% through the game, been hallowed for 99% of the time. The first playthrough you just play the AI and learn the maps, and on newgame+ you "open yourself up" to invasions by going human?
This is how it's meant to be played, r-right?
