For New Years I will be out at a friends cabin in West Virginia. We'll be wasted and will inevitably want to play video games. I intended to bring my PC and hook it up to the TV there, so my question is... What are some good video games that we can play that won't require internet?
I'm thinking at least 2 people, preferably up to 4.
We'll be using 360 controllers, as well, so compatibility is a must.
Also, what ever happened to local couch co-op?

Bayonetta wasn't half as talked-about as Dante, or even Donte. Even if the latter of those two was for being pathetic, people still start up frequent discussions about him. Most threads with Bayo use her as a proxy for statements about women in games, a NEVER EVER cudgel, or as a testament to Kamiya's fuck-you style. The character herself is just sort of there.Whether or not I get her will depend entirely on the music they choose for her stage. Umbra Throne and Call Me Father would be a yes, Fly Me and Moon River would be a no.

Finally time to buy a Wii U! I plan on buying at least seven for my friends and family.
Alright, so I'm starved for weeb shit after finishing Yakuza 5 and I'm looking at this game.
I should start by saying that I fucking hated Xenoblade for Wii. It was boring as shit and amounted to a single-player MMO in a stunningly empty overworld. The combat system seemed nice, but everything else sucked so bad that I never got far enough to see if it really opened up.
Given that I think the last Xenoblade was a steaming pile of crap, will I think Chronicles is any better?
I feel like my standards aren't particularly high considering I play and enjoy most Tales games.
If you didn't like the first one, you won't like this one. Its even more MMO-y, although it tries to hide its fetch and kill quests by making them part of "affinity quests" which supposedly give character development to the other party members. But all of the characters are flat and one dimensional as fuck, they all have a single defining trait that gets shoved down your throat over and over, and that is the extent of their character development. Also most of the characters aside from Lin, Elma, and a couple of others only interact with the mute MC and no one else, so most of the conversations come off as really awkward since the other characters are basically talking to themselves whenever talking to MC.
tl;dr if you didn't like the first one, you should probably steer clear of this one.

Your standards are pretty high if you like tales but couldn't get into Xeno 1 dude.
Also no, this game won't be for you as combat outside skells is largely the same and the story is completely non existent. The only thing it has over 1 is the exploration and the world around it as well as the numerous options it gives you to explore with
