The going the opposite direction thing is easy to explain; I want to make sure I don't miss any hidden items or such before moving on.

I happened to have found it on Steam and this stuff is pretty dang fun.

It's not bad.
It didn't keep me occupied for more than a month or so though.
You always call down a beacon for mass slaughter (which is cool) and otherwise you do rather boring quests and a looot of walking.
The recycling in the game from your inventory is cool as well, but the progression feels weird and you weirdly don't get all that much out of the beacon slaughterfests.
Overall neat but most you do in the game feels unrewarding and the walking is just boring as fuck. I think most of the time I spent in-game was just literally walking from one questpoint to the next.
Sort of wasted potential, but I keep thinking this is closer to Destiny than actual Destiny, since it's actually open-world.
Because the game is dying and the company is going bankrupt for being retards.
Why even play vidja /v/? No matter what you play, you will be insulted about it no matter what. If you play on a n64 or PS2, your going to be called a Retro fag. If you play on Xbox, your going to be called a normie or a try hard. Even if you play on some unheard of console, you will be told to get with the times.
tl;dr why should you play vidja if you get made fun for it no matter what?

With what Virtue's Last Reward is doing right now, I'm worried it's just going to be worse.No I'm not at the true ending yet but I hear all kinds of bad about it. Also VLR's ending is just a cliffhanger. It isn't bad in itself.

I'm looking for a game. It's a mech game.
Third person shooter, it's a white giant mech with a rifle, and i can tell it's giant because the game started out in a city, cars as small as your feet and stuff. The game is not new, being at least 6 old.(maybe even pre-PS3) I know it is vague, but that's the best i can do.

But I wouldn't spend one dime in a virtual gacha.
I would love if more games added a virtual currency so you could spend it in gachas to unlock songs, concept art and maybe unlockable costumes and characters, only a few games do that.

SOMA is only story really. It's hardly a horror game. Not that I'm complaining, the story is amazing and it's my GOTY.

Honestly if I were to play it, I'd enable godmode or disable the monsters. I'm not a fan of horror games. The most scary I can deal with is tense or thriller like RE4 and Alan Wake.
