The biggest mod I found fornit is called donut mod. From what I can tell it plays like a second quest version of the game with new gags, costumes, and cars.

Never played the originals but I know this is supposed to be a pretty good FPS and I like the way the shooting looks. Plus even though I know it's shallow as fuck, I do know that it's cyberpunk-themed.

MGS 4 had some good boss fights and one act and a half of good gameplay. Two to three hours of good gameplay at best. The rest of the game was either terrible boring gameplay, codec calls or cutscenes.
Not only is MGS 4 the game with by far the worst story in the Metal Gear series, serving as pure fanservice wank that is barely any style and absolutely no substance, it's also the game that decided to force said story down your throat the most.
Thinking MGS 4 is any good, let alone better than any MG game other than Snake's Revenge, should be considered a war crime and a bannable offense.

I love DaS2's aesthetics, but that is about it.
The bosses weren't as memorable, the level design didn't make fucking sense, and it just felt barren overall.
