So I bought pic related this afternoon and played a bit. Killed the cleric beast. My little brother is selling his PS4 so I have 50h to finish the game since I won't buy a PS4 just for this.
But I have a few questions:
When do I live this ugly ass area? It's killing my will to play.
Is it normal that Father Gascoigne is literally less than a minute after the Cleric Beast? Or did I miss something?
Were are the weapons?
How do I dual wield the extending axe weapon?
Are 50h enough to finish the game without DLC?
Anyway, music is 10/10, art style is 11/10, but that aliasing and sub 15fps framerate are just horrible.

Play in the release order. Start with no mods - only latest patch, OR get the full "Starter Pack" first; these contain bug-fixers and light visual mods that can help performance as well.
Leave big overhauls for later playthrougs. Avoid the "Complete" -mods. Always play on MASTER difficulty for best realism and atmosphere, and disable crosshair.
Don't give up in the beginning! The starting gear sucks ass and first area is quite boring.

So I was actually thinking why some people are salty about the direction Firaxis took when making XCOM 2.
I mean some of these people are either disappointed or angry that the whole blowing up the Temple Ship in EU/EW isn't canon and XCOM went underground when the aliens waltzed in, conquered Earth, and the governments betrayed XCOM by making peace with the ayys. As well making Bradford the game's equivalent to Big Boss.
Then we have a totalitarian Earth ruled over by the aliens via ADVENT and XCOM are terrorists in name only/guerilla fighters that fight against ADVENT and those who are working with them.
I say that depending on how XCOM 2 will end, it will have greater potential for a sequel actually. Even greater than the win scenario in EU/EW.
