Dq8 is my favorite RPG/JRPG of all time. When I found that scene I was like 15 and got so giddy. Hands down best rpg ever. So many secrets and lore to discover in such a beautiful world with amazing Music.
With a bit of polish this could have been best crpg

The pussification of Remakes is what kills me about them these days.
If a remake is just updated graphics and a new console to play it on, i'm cool with that and i'll buy it. However, Developers somehow feel the need to remake their games so the puzzles are now easier, and they feel like they need to baby the person playing the game because "thinking is too hard, and if they have to think then they'll quit the game"
When will they learn that literally fucking nobody wants this?
The only good example of this I can think of is the Triforce Hunting in Windwaker HD, Where they literally just put some of the triforce peices where the charts were.

You forgot
- Completely reworked the save system to make it much more convenient (the single largest flaw in the original game)
- Completely reworked boss fight for the Stone Tower because the original was boring as shit (the new one is boring too but at least you get to wrassle the giant worms)
- Changed the way Zora swimming works (I hate this change and it was the hardest thing to get used to, but I've heard a lot of people saying the opposite so I guess neither one is perfect)
- Changed the way Deku Link's spin works (this barely matters but it makes him a bit easier to control since he doesn't have so much acceleration)
As a fan of the original game, I have to say that Super Mario 64 DS controls like crap.
As someone who is new to stealth games in general and only has some knowledge of the general story would it be a bad idea to buy these games?
I usually play RPGs and wanted a change of pace gameplay-wise, This would also be my first MGS game
Play MGS3 first, then 1, then 2 and then pretend the other games never happened
You can play MGSV but it's so boring, the graphics are the only great thing about it
As a fan of the series, the story overall is a mess and the notion of a comprehensive story can be ignored. You might miss some details but it really won't make any difference.

No. It was full of map exploits and a lot of other turnoffs. Anyone who tells you release TF2 was the best is wearing those nostalgia goggles too tight. (TF2 is 9 years old, that's plenty of time for the feeling of nostalgia)

Japanese games are being a huge success on PC/STEAM (most of them even outselling their console version) recently since most weebs moved to PC/STEAM since the only thing console peasants buy are shit like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed, games like Persona 3, Persona 4 Golden and of course, Persona 5, would sell like hot cakes on PC/STEAM, and of course, running at 4k resolution, 60fps and mods support, something that can never be archieved on consoles.

You know, I feel like something that made SotC one of my all-time favorite games was it's uniqueness. No game had really done what it had done, plus it had great gameplay and interesting characters and plot to boot.
The fact that this Prey for the Gods doesn't seem like it has a single original bone in its body (SotC with survival, loot, and dodge-rolling!) really puts me off of it.
