Want to try a full psi build, is Riot Armor the best choice for defence in this case? With or without shield? Also should I invest in some Dexterity for traps/throwing as backup to psi?
You'll need the shield if you want a psi bonus. Adding the psi-beetle carapace to riot gear will make a shield.
