Does it ever bother you how in RPG's nothing ever happens without the protagonist?
Of course, the games are designed as your playground, everything is set so that you can affect everything and do all the quests your way. But this collides with writing - there's all these great and powerful characters and factions - yet everyone else is like a child, forever stuck in a stalemate until your character arrives and settles the trouble one way or another. They'll never act unless you appear, nothing changes without you.
Do you see this as a problem, and if you do, how should it be tackled?

I can't enjoy games. I don't even try new games anymore. I find myself replaying oldies for the xth time. All because of the Internet. Everywhere I go I see people hating on everything that comes out. I come here - people rage about everything. I read steam reviews - I only check the negative ones where people point out what is wrong with a game, instead of looking at the positive aspects. I'm too afraid to buy something new and put hours into the game just to realise that the negative reviews were right.
But then I play some old games, or try a random new title out of boredom without checking opinions. And I like the game. Then I come here and it turns people hate it.
It makes me think, do you actually hate every single game or is it me seeing only the negative opinions and being too afraid to check it out myself. Fix me.

So much missed content and it shows, awful tech decisions like letterbox with these textures, this frame rate, it's Japanese and Capcom specifically so half the net will hate it on principal, and instead of going straight for a DD2 with upgraded everything they launch a fucking "Online".

Actual favorite game is Grim Dawn.
Pro : gameplay is really satisfying with great replayability
