Gameplay and storywise how would've you written MGS5?
I keep re-watching the Elegia and Nuclear trailer. I was so dead set on watching "Big Boss" go insane and batshit evil but...

Wouldn't have minded seeing Kojima broach the subject of child soldiers a with a bit more force than he did as well.
I can't really remember what I thought the game was going to be about before it came out, which is unfortunate because I want those thoughts and feelings back.
I think maybe just having Big Boss globe trot around participating in various wars and witnessing (partaking in?) all sorts of human atrocities would have been enough of a send off for me. End the series with some grit. Instead he seemed to just dance around the topics he presented.
He had the whole theme of proxy armies fighting wars on behalf of higher powers to further their goals at the expense of the countries affected by the war. He never really showed that though! There were no civilians anywhere, they didn't even put in battles between conflicting powers in the game! MGS4 did this better! Why make MGSV if you're only going to do it worse? I mean, for fuck's sake Hideo.

it was pretty obvious from the get go that was not Big Boss. "from Fox two phantoms were born"
I still don't understand how people look at what Big Boss knowingly allowed to happen to Venom and think we didn't get his corruption. The only difference is that you play as the result rather than the cause.
Is Fromsoft trying to cater their trailers to a more casual fanbase since Bloodborne, and thus unknowingly planting a seed where "DIS GAME TOO HARD MAN!" will complain and they will tone down the difficulty of the games in the future?
because let's be honest and memes aside, Souls games ARE difficult, there are games that are more difficult naturally, but let's not pretend that Souls games are easy that anybody can pick up and win.

Am I overthinking this, or do more casual trailers risk giving people the wrong idea of a game, and will developers start to listen to these new people?
I do want to add though that I find the Bloodborne and DS3 trailer cool as fuck, I'm just worried that it will also attract the wrong people and in the end, destroy the series by casualising it for Chad Thundercock.

The achievement for dying in DaS2 is called "Welcome to Dark Souls", so they've been doing this way before Bloodborne.
Souls series was never that good, and annual CoD tier sequels don't help.

That is the only way I would ever consider playing a fighting game. I don't like random chance playing a huge role in whether I win or lose a game. If the mechanics are complicated enough to where one can gain skill and thus raise their chances of winning by practice and study, then I think it would be worth it.

I'm at Florem right now, and I've learned almost every Catmancy ability.
One of those I'm missing is called Panzerlied and can be learned from Iron Man (II) B-type. Okay, so I've seen some Iron Men (II) in Ancheim, but those were A and E-types. And now, outside of Florem I can encounter Iron Men (IV).
Did I miss B-type because it's so rare? Or can it only be found later, like on NG+ or something?
Also, what's the difference between Catmancy and Cat Mastery?

Not really, you can just use your own approach for every boss. Honestly, I don't think the first game ever forced you to use some specific party set-up either.

Very good, highly recommended. On the surface it seems like your standard run and gun but in almost every encounter there is a way to sneak and avoid being spotted which makes for some very interesting gameplay. Many nooks and crannys you can squeeze yourself into
Some people like it for some reason but I really didn't. Shame to see those enemy reactions go to waste.

Why does every mmo have to have some cancer guild called "The Laughing Coffin?"
Literally every mmo has to have one now. And it's always idiots in it being retarded. For example, on Black Desert Online you can declare war on another guild at any time, at the cost of 1,000,000 silver from your guild funds (which can only be gained by completing guild missions, you can't deposit your own money) and an extra 300,000 every few hours that other other guild doesn't declare war back.
Kirito, who I can assume is the leader of the shit guild on this game, declared war on mine just to kill one guy a few times and as soon as I showed up ran away and didn't come back. Didn't even try to come back with help.

It is. Guild missions give an average of like 300k but it takes a few people a couple hours to do them. Then you actually have to pay your guild members every day up to 30k as long as they're in the guild.
Funny thing is you constantly see server broadcasts of this guild declaring and retracting war, it's funny to think how much money they've wasted on a game that can be summed up as "Capitalism Online"

First of all the game is utter shit but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it in the future.
Here's why the game is shit
>5 car slots (i wanna own all the cars in the game)
>not every car is fully customizable
>restricted parts
>bad story line especially the acting
from what I understood is and read is, every update DLC is free to download, which creates some potential.
