FF8 was an abortion from start to finish, CC just ran out of money a little at the end.
Reminder that Dragon Quest sucks - no matter the version - and that saying "it's a classic" doesn't mean shit. You are a shit person misleading people if you recommend this trash. I honestly think this game is poison for introducing virginal JRPG fans, cause if I wasn't a seasoned vet this whole genre would have been turned off to me.
Final Fantasy VI is the perfect gateway JRPG

There you go, that's all you need. Unleveled game with a nice difficulty curve, where the further you are from the Imperial City, the more difficult the game is. A lore-friendlier version of Cyrodiil with Jungles, dark swamps, and snowy peaks. And something to fix potato-faces.
Those are the only three mods you really need. Everything else is just preference.

There is some kind of 3D bullet hell game? I mean something like the pic, where you fly a jet or mech and have to shoot enemies while dodging obstacles/bullets.
