The series kinda went bad after Conviction, wich was fun, but was an action game rather than a stealth game. It also started the trend of turning stealth games into cheap action games.
Splinter Cell 1 was pretty great though.

Gwyn's theme doesn't even fit with the fight out of the box.
He's far too aggressive and the fight is either too easy and unremarkable or too hard and aggravating depending on if you parry, use pyromancy, or fight normally.

Honestly, it gives me the feels of when I used to play Diablo 2 to find those set and unique items along with the feels of crafting for the best equipment in Monster Hunter.
They did the unique equipment addiction better than Diablo 3 did. Also those challenging missions are really challenging. Not impossible, but just right to be challenging.
