Did anyone ever play the Army Men series? I love Army Men II and Toys in Space, but apparently they were supposed to be shit? Has anyone played them recently?

It's literally been over a decade since I touched an Army Men game but I do remember the first RTS titles being released around the same time that Starcraft, Warcraft, and Command & Conquer were skyrocketing in popularity (along with a few others). Most of the RTS Army Men were just good and solid games, which probably made them seem "mediocre" in comparison to their competition.
A lot of the later games apparently fell apart though. I remember the developer going through massive financial problems as consoles rose in popularity, with a few decent efforts at spin-offs involving Vikki Grimm.
In other words, they were good games that couldn't keep up with the times, constantly living in the shadow of more popular titles. I wouldn't be surprised if some businessman running the company started embezzling money by the end, accelerating the death of the series.
So now that the bodies have hit the floor and the game ended on a cliffhanger, how would you improve D44M 2?

They should finally make a modern remake of Doom 2, where you're fighting demons in an urban/industrial environment.

What graphics card should I purchase to render my games in a higher internal resolution than 1.5x Native? My current card is just the onboard Intel HD 4600.
Ideally, I'd want to run things in 3 or 4x native, with anti-aliasing as well.

I've got a 770 and it can run things usually around 3x with most other things cranked up high as well. get that cheap new 1060 and you'll be golden. also emulation tends to be more cpu locked than gpu, so make sure you've got a decent cpu as well

I've got a four-year-old radeon in a prebuilt that runs most stuff at 2x resolution
iirc dolphin's bottlenecked more by the cpu than by your graphics card, invest in a good processor if you're into emulation
Why do Xenogears and Xenosaga fan hate Xenoblade because they don't think it's a "Xeno" game but like XCX because muh mecha, even though XCXs story doesn't have any of the "Xeno" thematic elements (philosophy/religious symbolism, gnosticism, mysticism)?

Toussaint is so comfy and I love just walking around the city
Did anyone else feel The Witcher 3 was boring and kind of repetitive? I couldn't push myself through it although I loved The Witcher 2 and have played it end to end more than once.
I went through the same. After a while I just found myself playing it to play some more Gwent.
I got sick of riding my horse around and got sick of the combat. I feel like it's a nice combat system for a RPG, but every battle besides boss battles felt the same.
