Just about every modern EA launch. They could post day one patches, but they know there is no saving their games.
So let me get this straight. The Institute has found the cure to aging and yet Shaun is still very old. Shaun still has cancer while the Institute has somehow managed to get their hands on FEV and created Super Mutants that cannot have cancer or pretty much age. Then you have that one intelligent Super Mutant scientist guy Virgil trying to work on a cure for the Super Mutant mutation.
Why?

This is what the FEV in general does, the Institute didn't contribute anything to it.
The downside being that 99% of super mutants end up retarded and all their experiments on that topic failed.

I think he means turning into a Super Mutant is the cure for aging, but that's a pretty significant side effect, even if you don't turn retarded. I suppose technically it could work, or at least keep him alive until they could work out a treatment for his cancer, but I think its more a case of him feeling it was his time and passing on with dignity rather than some Bethesda plot hole. Hell, if he really wanted to preserve himself until he could be cured he would just go back to vault 111 and freeze himself.

is GMDX worth it? I want to do a stealth/nonlethal playthrough and I read that they've added a stealth skill, and many changes, is it balanced?

Did the modders also alter the amount of skill points you get? because it sounds reasonable, given there are more skills, and for a stealth run you'd need to spend points on a new skill they made

from what I have read, tons of fucking changes, they added a new skill stealth, turned swimming into an athletics skill that also improves running and other stuff, AI changes so enemies can notice bodies, added different footstep sounds among many others, enemies react to sound

So I bought this game back when it came out for GameCube. I fucking hated it and I vowed to never touch it again since I couldn't beat it. I saw the remaster on PS4 and decided to give it a go. I fucking love this game now and I don't know why I hated it before.
Everyone says it's such a bitch because of the item management but if anything I feel like it's way better to just drop the stuff than having to go the whole way back to an item box. I just beat it a few days ago and the new wesker mode has me coming back for more. I think I honestly found another favorite resident evil.
Anybody with me on actually liking this game, or am I the only one?
I enjoy the game, but it's pretty bad compared to re1-4. The story, item management, and locations aren't good

I already liked it quite a bit during GC times, and never understood the bitching I started seeing later.
It's not my favorite or even second best RE game, but still a nice oldschool survival horror title. The HD remaster's pretty as a button too, thanks to Capcom being able to re-render the BGs in higher resolution this time around.

I wish there were more areas outside. Yeah you can go to the church and outside the front mansion, but the way they had the beginning set up they could have had some way better environments. They were on a train so they could have gone anywhere. Hell they could have even gone into the woods.
