Why is this game so fucking condescending and pretentious?
Every time I complete a challenge mode, it rewards me by saying a bunch of condescending shit like "what, did you expect a reward?" and "good job, keep going" and "clap, clap, clap."
I found every secret in the main game, in which it let the protag ask a question and each time they give the most pretentious ambiguous answer of all time.
The game is fun but why the fuck is it trying to be anti-fun?

This is literally one of the most poorly explained mechanics I've ever seen. NO WHERE does the game tell you that, (A), parrying is an essential part of the game, and (B), you perform a parry by tapping the left analog stick forward and mashing square. I even replayed the first level again to make sure it wasn't just me being a dumbass, literally all the game says is that you're supposed to run forward and attack to parry, which is a blatant lie. Why is this allowed?

Is it just me or is the combat in Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne really I guess the word would be... mash R1 and trade damage randomness?
I haven't played either game yet admittedly (platinum'd the first two games and beat demons souls though) but even watching good players on Twitch like Peeve who know what they're doing, it just always looks really random like they're just mashing R1 and trading damage then healing after almost every small-medium battle.
If you watch dark souls 1 combat it's a lot more calculated and precise and doesn't look like two DSP's just bruteforce tanking it and hoping they are the one with more health at the end of it all lol.
It can't just be me who sees this and it really turns me off playing either DS3 or BB.

I'd run through Jade Empire again, but I was so thorough in my first two playthroughs that I really have nothing left to do in it.

It's really not that difficult to mimic oriental architecture in a game.
But actually designing a game around the mythology is a lot more difficult.
There's tons of games that use Greek/Roman mythology, and even quite a few that use Norse mythology, but relatively few that have anything to do with Chinese mythology.

Has anyone had any trouble with ordering games off Play Asia? First time I tried to order it, it came back as credit card authorization failed. So I sorted that out with my bank and got it cleared to send it to Play Asia. They then sent me an email saying they would be on holiday until the 28th, but my order was recieved and would ship then. Today I get emailed that my credit card needs verfication.

That is the text of what they sent me. The problem? My card is verified, I already have that security added. Also, the bigger problem is that I didn't use a Visa. My card is a Mastercard. Which they should know, considering I paid with that.
I'm getting worried. The charge for Play Asia is still pending on my card, so if they don't sort this out in the next day I'm cancelling the order.
I did some research after this, they seemed like a legit company at first, but now I'm reading all kinds of things online about how they're nothing but Chinese scammers.
