It's fine for older games, and newer games are supporting it more quickly. Unless you NEED to play the most recent AAA titles you'll have little issue on linux.
It's doable, but it takes more effort than on Windows and you often end up with worse performance.

This is their last chance to make this game worthwhile, as it stands now this game is the weakest souls game. The DLC better be on par if not better with Old Hunters in terms of quality and on par with SoTFS in terms of amount of content.
