Platinum was put together by a small part of the team to be released as a demo, it's not a "sneak peak" at a segment in the actual game.
Those are the facts, take what you will. The game is most likely going to have frame rate dips though, it's just how these 30 fps console games always are.

The fuck does that mean? You can't make a 'wrong' character in Fo1 and 2. All builds a viable.
The only arguably 'wrong' thing you can do in them is not getting your Agi to 10. And even then, if you're playing a non-combat character 6-7 is probably fine.

I like how Memetendo is a company founded upon innovation, insulting and berating others and their works, but HEAVEN FORBID that anyone criticize them! They'll even ban you from miiverse if they catch a whiff of dissatisfaction. It's amazing how creatively lazy the company has become. They were better when they were a starving group. I was thinking very seriously about buying the remaster this week. Is it worth the $25? I've never played final fantasy (other than on gameboy) but played some similar JRPG (Lost Oddysey) and liked them enough.

If it's your first time through the game, yeah. Each character(other than Kimahri who can go multiple ways) has their own path for their "role" that you should generally follow. /v/ will sometimes give you advice like sending diverting Yuna onto black magic, but you don't really need to be worrying about all this shit first playthrough.
Just stick to each character's path(or whichever way you pick for the furball), and follow it to the end. Pick up the extra stat/ability boots that are on slight detours if you want and like what they offer.

It's alright, although I never played original X so I have nothing to compare it to really. It definitely does look like an uprezzed PS2 game though, some of the faces on NPCS and background textures are rough.

You and a bunch of your homosexual friends decide to work for this crusty asshole who owns a quarry. Upon entering the quarry you figure out that your evil probably cloned heterosexual twins are working for the crusty asshole's brother who looks identical to him. You then fight them because your crusty asshole wants to own the quarries. A bushman who owns the world comes in and give you explosives, and baseball bats to fight eachother with. Years of fighting happen, over the course of the fighting you go to places like egypt for some reason, send a space monkey 6feet under a crater, find the all powerful autismo the great who give you ducks for killing people, and have little rivalries within your gangbang group.
Then apparently those two crusty assholes had an even crustier third asshole he shows up with a gay robot army that looks like you and your homosexual friends and enemies. You then fight that asshole to prevent them from destroying the quarries you fought for against one another. You then all make out when you kill his robo army.
Then things happen, time passes, you fight a giant bread monster, a train passes by, and aliens come to attack but get drunk and die or some shit.
