Is this PS3 Yakuza or something?
>>
Got a question about Yakuza.

Since Brawler is a dead genre. What makes the Yakuza series so popular ?

The plot, the side stories, those mini mini ridiculous games good for laugh.
Combat is bretty good, but like you said, its a dead genre because its been perfected like years ago.

Not him, but I'm curious: What game perfected it?

PS4. All Yakuzas are 60 fps now
>>
>>333256682
No specific game, its just been decades brawling games existed, there's only so much "brawling" can do in a brawling game.

Don't think there is anything new or innovative you can do except adding more QTE combat, might as well make it a movie.

There is also this old ps1 brawlin game i cant remember, it plays this fatboy slim music over and over again, then this game with two cops in 3d cleaning the streets with gun and melee pickups.

Fuck....it boggling.

Can't tell if 60fps is worth the quality loss on these when the game has a very competent motion blur function built into its replay editor.

Well sometimes I'm impress they don't crash like any western game engines with pushed to the limit with locked threads and fucked up resource management.

if you play the game it makes a lot more sense.

They're like FBI agents coming in if someone calls them depending on what you do in the level, it's just that they don't stop driving even if they hit something.

You can then have the target stand in their way and take it out that way.

Definitely Zero
>>
>>333260663
I think the glass kills them because in other mission you have characters standing on glass and if you shoot it, they instantly die and fall through (they probably can't take fall damage). So here the game thinks that it must be that scenario with glass and kills everyone above and under the glass.

It's made by Yahtzee, the Zero Punctuation guy.

If I remember correctly, it's an eldritch horror themed game where there's three cosmic horrors about to descend on the world. As that notebook says about eight seconds in, one is the evil one, a second one is assisting it, but a third is actively trying to aid you.
So it's a puzzle to figure out which one you need to wreck the ritual for, or whatever.
It's a bit of a roguelike, I think. You explore an overworld on a time limit, find random events, and explore dungeons to find items and clues as you proceed.

i got sick of dodging after several hours and the game has the most hamfisted storytelling imaginable. because it runs of 30fps i always feel like something is off.

it literally is 'too deep for you': the game.
