So, how can I run FFXIII on pc with actually decent fps? It seems to be locked at 30 and suffering some drops to 20.
I only played the tutorial though. Changing the resolution to 720p or 1080p or the antialiasing didn't help at all.
Do I need to download some fix like dark souls 1?

You have a shit CPU.
The PC port is poorly optimized in terms of CPU and only uses 1 CPU core.
You need a good CPU with high core clock.

the combat is awkward and pivots around some of the absolute worst friendly ai I've seen in a game
quests are pretty mmo-tier as well
I still liked it a lot
I loved it although I will say that the combat is just a giant clusterfuck that really need to be improved for the sequel.
