Go to the basement of the Shinra mansion.
In the lab there you'll find two human-sizes science-tube-things, coded with "Z" and "C".
Zack and Cloud were kept there by Hojo for several years after being wounded by Sephiroth. Both were given the Jenova treatment, also Cloud was apparently mako infused. Zack eventually regained his strength and broke out, dragging mako poisoned Cloud along.

Am I the only one sick and tired of the oversaturation of 2D platformers on Nintendo systems nowadays? I want to be able to play more open 3D platformers that let you really explore your surroundings. 2D platformers feel like a step backwards.
Considering we had basically no console 2D platformers from the N64 on I'm totally fine with the "oversaturation".
That image reminds me, why do people make shitty looking "remakes" of Nintendo levels or areas in UE4?
