I really want to like fighting games but I just can't get around the concept of a 1 on 1 game where the only factor of determining the outcome of the game is each player's skill.
What's the point if the more skilled player always wins? Who has fun like that?

I love GTA V
I found the game amazing during my first playthrough but everytime i replay it , i feel like it's shit.
Open worlds like rdr or mgsv are far superior. I even prefer replaying vice city

So what exactly is the appeal of this game?
Beat it and have to say its maybe the most brain dead RPG I have played. You just spam your best moves and heal. Status effects and elemental attributes are almost never important to consider. The story is awkward and paced rather poorly. It reminds me of the anime Bleach where it throws a bunch of nonsense characters at you that never get developed. You can literally finish the game with just a fraction of them. Completely inconsequential.
If you played this title as a kid, I can certainly understand that you would have some nostalgia for it. But I'd like to think we have moved past this type of derivative, dull design. Its a mediocre anime in piss easy videogame form.

It's still garbage. Here's an idea for an airship. Let's just take the Highwind from FF7. Put it into FF15. You can call it whenever you want like the helicopter in MGSV. It arrives and lowers down until it's above the ground and opens a hanger bay door, where you can drive your car in or whatever. You can then get out of your car INSIDE the airship. The airship has an interior you can traverse and alter with a crew you can interact with etc. You can then go to the bridge to take control of it. You can zoom out to see a third person view of the ship in flight as it takes off and flies around the world.
You don't even get the flying car till the end of the game. Fuck.

Honestly, getting it late in the game as a reward for a sidequest really does seem like the best way to handle it.

At some point the map will open up and youcan fly otherwise the story would just make no sense and the enemy balance would be set to level up with you which is the worst thing that could happen

SUPER HOT kind of has 'dodging' in it, but it feels more like a puzzle game than a shooter.
I've only played dark souls II
I've not played any game in the souls series, it sounds and looks really tedious to play.
currently on my first playthrough , I keep dying like a n00b in No-mans's Wharf , because I keep rushing like an idiot
Also I use the Bastard sword, didn't like it in DaS1 , but I love it here (they changed the longsword moveset , what's the deal with that?)
DaS1 used to kinda lagg on my craptop , but DaS2 runs smooths as hell
Tips and tricks for a beginner?
