Thats just a downright lie, or you're more of a shitter than I thought. There's like, 5 different ways to get XP for your skills depending on what you're trying to level up. Literally just fill your skill bar with what skill line you're grinding for and you'll get 50 in no time.

You don't "have" to get fucking anything, they're optional. You can get the skill points you need just by leveling and questing, you don't need every god damn skill point the game can offer as you're not going to use them all

Its called "git gud". When you run a dungeon your entire group is tested to see if they're good enough to survive on their own and have some form of survivability with their build so they don't fucking get btfo instantly. The game teaches you that you need to get your shit together before you can even fight the boss. If you can't even handle the mobs then you probably shouldn't even be playing video games.

I should also mention that the sword and board is NOT the only skill line with a taunt. The undaunted skill line also has a taunt that's ranged and uses magicka.

And in case someone's once again new to this PC gaming stuff: Use a program like DaemonTools Lite to mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
After this disaster, what is the best Sims game to replay?
I prefer Sims 3.
It can be unstable and slow, but the gameplay is still so much better than Sims 2 that I can live with it.
Did EA give up on Sims 4?
You never hear anything about it and it's "only" got two expansions.

I started playing Thief 3 the other day for the first time too, I really like the lighting engine and how guards carry around candles. The Saint Edgar's Eve mission was great too.
I'm not that far into it but why is 3 hated? Or is it liked, just not as much as 1 and 2? Though I am playing with Thief 3 Gold mod and minmalist project so maybe that's why the game feels good to me.

Those mods do fix a lot of the things people hate about it. At this point, taking mods into account and having seen how bad things can get with Thi4f, more people seem to have warmed up to it (I still haven't played it).

NMH2 had some improvements, like the minigames, making each beam katana unique and having a specific function, and letting you switch between them on the fly, but was overall worse. Worse boss fights, removal of the overworld, shitty balance, worse story, shitty outfits you could buy, worse (but still good honestly) music, I could go on.
