Krystal wasn't necessarily a mistake. Keep in mind that she is the known main character of Dinosaur Planet, the original Nintendo 64 game developed by Rare, before development shifts made by Nintendo. If anything, it's Nintendo's decisions and fanbase which made Krystal a mistake.

What if mana was like Hearthstone, where it's limited early in a PvP match and becomes more and allows more powerful abilities as the gamemode progresses?
What if CDs were tuned around a maximum of 3 minutes?
What if the PvP meta was positioning based, or even better, something like moving football lines, where the DPS was in the front, healers were in the back, and tanks were like linebackers and receivers (pushing and receiving buffs and debuffs, esp. to the healers)?
What if CC was replaced with solely buffs and debuffs (area denial like walls, AOE effects and procs, and maybe roots, but no full control loss)?

honestly the biggest problem i see is the lack of self-identity, you are no longer your own charachter, you are now just your class + item level, which makes it hell of a lot more boring
back then everything mattered, every piece of gear, specialization, professions and it was all hard to obtain

-Great post-game content (multiplayer and higher difficulties)
-Great artwork of enemies and characters
Everything Modern tries to create a successful franchise such as CoD, however TLoU managed to be popular out of sheer quality. None of copies other games, and the storyline is so progressive with its elements of Adulthood and realistic decisions. This is pure art with its level design, plot, and themes of survival and loved ones.
I can tell you most people on here hate on this game because they never owned a Ps3, otherwise they'd be shitting themselves over how Godlike this game is

Characters are half way done in development - movesets are not final, but are very close. With some smoothing of the animations, they'll feel so nice to finally play in a proper Smash game.
