This thread is dedicated to those characters in video games that make you fucking rage.
You know the one...There are bad guys in video games that make you straight up enjoy them without question however...there are also the ones that makes you legit wanna hurl your controller at a fucking wall
Those fuckers. It could be anything they do that pisses you off. A line of dialogue designed to make you hate him unconditionally or maybe an action that made you straight up look at this fucker and think “Your death is coming and when it happens I am gonna skullfuck your mouth.”
An example of this would be how negatively Final Fantasy fans reacted when Aerith got stabbed in the heart by Sephiroth and everyone unamoiously REEEEEEEE’D loudly because of it.
If I had to choose a video game antagonist that made me straight up wanna murder a child its this little shit. Monaca Towa from Danganrompa Ultra Despair Girls...I thought it would legit be impossible to find a replacement that made me hate Junko and Nagito even less than I already do BUT NOPE Spike Chunsoft found a way and they found it the form of a child! Hi, I've been developing this game for the last few weeks, I need some feedback.

It's an MMO arena, you basically just kill everyone you see and level up. Move with WASD, hold left mouse button to shoot.
There's a class tree, but it's not too big yet, there are only 11 classes, you advance at levels 15, 30, 45, 60 (if the class you're in can advance).
Please report any bugs you see, I'll be answering any questions on this thread. There are two servers, one in europe and one in the US, you'll automatically connect to the one with lowest latency.
Also, please bump the thread if you're playing it

I have been trying to beat this bullshit for the past 3 hours. What a fucking waste of my time. This game is bullshit and all you fucking meme lords are just try hard posers. The only reason why you like this bullshit game is because of its bullshit trial and error difficulty that gives you some bullshit sence of sueriority over people like me who actually have a life and dont want to dedicate thousands of hours of my time just to be able to beat a stupid boss.

Get a life, nerds. Instead of spending hundereds of hours plays MEMEsouls, you might have actually accomplished something in real life.
I've made a concept for a top-down airship game where you can be an engineer, infantry, captain, or admiral, with larger ships almost always having crew members rather than being solo-piloted.
Does such an idea sound fun to /v/ though? Before I embark on a project that takes effort.
The following reading is optional, I largely just wrote it for myself.
>Make 2D browser-based engine in Java where the server sends data to the clients as quadtrees for better performance with large/numerous objects
>build on top of the engine an airship-piloting/walkabout game and a few objects ships can be built out of, getting the game engine in a testable state as quick as possible
>create a pipeline for making those objects, and a construction/destruction system

>create a huge amount of pseudocode-generated content, as well as premium content which is the same but looks cooler
>introduce spawn points which can be built by players, and require a nearby robot body for the player to inhabit
>release game on a hired server with a small area that is NPC-dominated (AI is easy to create for this game)

>make it so that NPCs more and more rarely inhabit player-created bodies, forcing players to try and get more people into the game (getting someone to spawn at a spawn point is as simple as giving them a link, they can be playing with you in mere seconds)

>make sure game can last forever without losing significant money by purchasing a server only upgraded when necessary, and allowing players to buy powerful components for real money that can end up being stolen or destroyed so that everyone already having premium doesn't mean there'll be no revenue

That's a pretty interesting concept OP. Also neat to hear a game idea that focuses more on the technical side of things instead of just a story like most /v/ ideas.

To be honest I wish I could give the game more soul, but I think that if I did that I'd do it in a second version of the game which would come years later, and I'd do it in a way that's more dynamic, i.e. players are the biggest part of the story of the world rather than just individuals going through an MMO's permanent quests.
I'll probably attempt to make a working version of this game at the end of this trimester, it'd be good to get the experience of making a game like this early on.

There should be a game where it's like a normal FPS or some shit but around the stage are powerups jackie chan style that all grant you sick ass bonuses and the goal isn't to capture the flag or hold control points but to gather them all yourself. When someone dies they drop the powerups and it's all first come first serve.

Does anyone else feel bad when they completely stomp someone in a multiplayer game that clearly is just starting or doesnt know how to play at all?

In one magical WC3 match I had a guy roll up with an undead horde and just camped looking at my base. He taught me build order, then smashed me to pieces.
It was hard to be mad, I mean he was kind enough to at least make the lesson clear before he handed me defeat
Btw I was just playing Hearthstone and the other player played a bunch of crap cards like voodoo doctor and I felt bad
